Dragon’s Den
We know you have good ideas. Now, we want to know more about your most profitable ones! Just like on the TV version of the show with its namesake, you’ll be pitching your product/service/business prototypes to convince our three in-house Dragons to invest* in your success.
How It Works
From flying saucers to inflatable underpants, there’s no shortage of inventions that could make life easier and more enjoyable for all. That’s where you come in. We challenge you to invent a product, service, or business idea that’ll knock the socks off our judges and leave your competitors in a trail of dust.
Contestants will take turns pitching their million-dollar idea to our savvy investors. You’ll have one week to come up with the idea, prepare your presentation, buy a new pair of lucky business socks, and refine your rizz.
To wow our investors, you can use:
- Audio
- Visuals
- Photos
- PowerPoint presentations
- Posterboards
- Prototypes
- Anything else that’s safe to share at work
Technical Nitty Gritty
There are a few technical details that will enrich your experience here in our Dragon’s Den:
- Only one person can PRESENT for your team and speak to the dragons, but others may show up and help demonstrate your item for the dragons and be a part of videos and presentation materials.
- Pitches can be prerecorded.
- Please keep your pitch concise with a limit of 5 minutes for each contestant.
- Bribes are welcome but will not influence the outcome of our Dragon’s decisions.
- Your idea has to be grounded in reality. It cannot be a impossible idea like a magic genie that gives you wishes for example. It needs to be possible in our reality. Real ideas only!
Judgment
We hope you have broad shoulders. When the big money is on the line, judgments are made against you, your ideas, and your presentation skills.
When all presentations are completed, our dragons will decide who takes home the gold, silver, and bronze medals for the top three best ideas.
* If you win, we won’t be investing in your brilliant business idea, but you will go down in company history as the first, second, or third-best purveyor of LNM’s most legendary sales pitches. You’ll also get a shiny medal.
